...a working title

Zoey Brookshire is usually dwarfed by her provocative work on huge canvas (or paper so large it scrolls onto the floor). Her fans (including me) know she is a woman who has something to say - and that compells us to stand still before her paintings and listen with eyes and heart.

She is also known for smaller works - among them are her small sketches of young Buddhas that have been emerging for many years in quiet moments inbetween the breathtaking horizons of her vast paintings.

This small book (5.5 x 5.5-inches) will hold among its pages the latest sketches - 64 in all - perhaps mingled with potent words represented in both English and Sanskrit - and perhaps, as the current idea above suggests, a quiet connection to the hexagrams of the I-Ching...time will tell.
